Abstract

This editorial argues for practical learning loops that connect frontline observations with timely decisions.

Full text

Crises evolve faster than conventional planning cycles. Health organisations therefore need short, disciplined learning loops.

Connect evidence to a decision

More reporting does not automatically produce better action. Each learning activity should answer a live operational question.

Make adaptation accountable

Teams should record why a change was made, what they expected, and whether outcomes improved.
